AYDIN's hidden paradise, intertwined with history and nature ARAPAPIŞTI CANYON We are setting off to explore the breathtaking natural beauty and the remnants of historical tombstones in the canyon with a guided boat tour.
Tour Program
We start moving toward the Kemer Dam, picking up our guests from the specified stops starting at 06:30 in the morning.
We take a breakfast break along the route (extra). Upon reaching YENİ PAZAR, we visit the YÖRÜK ALİ MUSEUM house and then proceed to the BOZDOĞAN village. After a tea and coffee break here, we arrive at the KEMER DAM, where we enter ARAPAPIŞTI CANYON, a hidden paradise of Aydın that extends from the dam. The most notable feature of ARAPAPIŞTI canyon is the rock tombs believed to be built by Persians in the 5th century BC, along with the three-towered kör teke tower and historical remnants from the Roman and Byzantine periods, including hidden monasteries. With its rich natural and historical beauty, full of various flowers and living species, it resembles a hidden paradise. After covering about 6 km, we take photographs of this unique natural wonder that rises to 380 meters high and is one of the largest canyons. After the visit, we have free time for lunch (extra) in ARAPAPIŞTI or NAZİLLİ. Later, we board our awaiting boat at 15:00 for a near 2-hour boat tour (1 hour 40 minutes). At the end of our boat trip, we begin our return journey towards IZMIR, taking necessary breaks along the way, and arriving in IZMIR by around 23:00 - 24:00, filled with beautiful memories and friendships. We end the day with a farewell, hoping to meet again at the next "IZMIR PORT TRAVEL" organization for a pleasant day.
