Day 1 IZMIR DIRECT FLIGHT GAZIANTEP - ZEUGMA MUSEUM - HALFETI - SANLIURFA
We meet with our esteemed guests in the morning at the domestic terminal of Adnan Menderes Airport and complete the check-in procedures for our flight from Izmir to Gaziantep, which will take off at 06:00, and arrive at GAZIANTEP Airport at 07:40. We settle into our vehicle waiting for us and after having our breakfast with the famous Katmer and Beyran Soup in Gaziantep, we start our tour with a visit to the world’s largest mosaic museum, the ZEUGMA MOSAIC MUSEUM. Accompanied by our guide's informative commentary, we will explore the Zeugma Museum, a significant archaeology museum in Gaziantep. The museum features artifacts and mosaics from the Roman period. The artifacts unearthed from the ancient city of Zeugma are protected here. Notably, the “Gypsy Girl” mosaic is famous. The museum also houses sculptures, ceramics, and stone artifacts from ancient times. Zeugma is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List. We proceed to the historical bazaars area and visit the ZINCIRLI BEDSTEN, ALMACI MARKET, COPPERSMITHS' BAZAAR. As we approach the narrow streets where the hammer meets copper, the sounds of the coppersmiths' hammers greet you. During our free time here, you can shop for souvenirs, baklava, and Antep pistachios. After completing our tour of Gaziantep, we move on to HALFETI, a hidden paradise with a captivating atmosphere due to its history and nature, where the Karagül series was filmed. We embark on a magnificent one-hour boat tour (extra) on the Birecik Dam Lake. Close your eyes and allow the wind to touch you as it passes through your arms... You will feel time slowing down and flowing back to the past with a cool breeze gently caressing your face. After the boat tour where we will see the Rum Castle and the Historical Cave Houses, we proceed to the city of prophets, SANLIURFA. We settle into Urhay Boutique Hotel, Uludağ Hotel, Grand Urfa, etc. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

Day 2 ATATURK DAM - NEMRUT MOUNTAIN - SANLIURFA (Sira Night)
After breakfast at our hotel, we head towards the ATATURK DAM. We see Turkey’s largest dam, the heart of the Southeastern Anatolia Project, and listen to our guide's explanations while sipping our coffee as we admire this magnificent work, one of the projects of the Great Leader Atatürk. After leaving the impressive dam behind, we board the waiting minivans and head towards the NEMRUT MOUNTAIN (weather and road conditions permitting). This is the intersection point of the Eastern and Western Civilizations, 2150 meters high, a magnificent pyramid, known as the “Throne of Kings.” NEMRUT is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List with its captivating statues that reach heights of over ten meters and its stone tablets that stretch for meters. We take photographs of these amazing historical structures and continue our journey to the prophets’ city, SANLIURFA. We visit Balıklıgöl, believed to be the site where Hz. Ibrahim was thrown into the fire by Nimrod, Ayn Zeliha Lake, and the cave where Hz. Ibrahim was born. After our guide's explanation, we give free time at a spice shop for you to purchase local products unique to Şanlıurfa. We then return to our hotel. In the evening, those who wish can join a traditional SIRA NIGHT entertainment (extra meal included), which is a part of Urfa culture. Accommodation at our hotel (Urhay Boutique Hotel, Uludağ Hotel, Grand Urfa, etc.) (It may also take place on the first day depending on availability).
Day 3 GOBEKLITEPE - MARDIN
After breakfast at our hotel, we head towards GOBEKLITEPE. Known as the world’s first temple and cultural area that changed the course of world history, built 12,000 years ago and covered by those who built it with the notion if “We will return here,” we begin our visit to GOBEKLITEPE. Göbeklitepe, where the first sculpture workshop is located, is also regarded as the place where chickpeas, lentils, and wheat were first cultivated in the world, marking the advent of agricultural history. Accompanied by our guide's narratives, we journey through time, observing the T-shaped pillars featuring stylized human figures and areas where animal figures are carved into the rocks. After concluding our visit to Göbeklitepe, we head towards MARDIN, known as “Gerdanlık” at night and “Seyranlık” during the day. We start exploring Mardin with the Kasımiye Medrese. The Medrese, which began construction during the Artuqid period and completed during the Akkoyunlu Sultan Kasım Ibn Cihangir in the late 15th century, will be explored while our guide provides information. After the photo break, we will see the harmonious city of Mardin, representing the cultures and civilizations of Mesopotamia. The Ptt Building, Olgunlaşma Institute, Grand Mosque, Zinciriye Medrese, and historical structures integrated with Mardin culture and architecture, see the narrow streets and Abbara, will be among the places we visit. Listen to the children’s voices and the sounds of horseshoes occasionally echoing while walking through the narrow streets, and make sure your hands touch the centuries-old cool walls, then you will feel a little more connected to Mardin. We provide free time to shop in the Mardin bazaar. Here you can find souvenirs such as writings printed with old molds unique to the region, copper trays and candlesticks, carpets, handmade felt, prayer beads, keffiyehs, wines, wooden crafts, almond sweets, roasted chickpeas, the coffee pot for mırra, and special cups without handles (Gümgüm). Depending on our tour date, we will settle at Midyat Royal Hotel, Midyat Matiat Hotel, etc.. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 MIDYAT - HASANKEYF - BATMAN - DIYARBAKIR
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off to visit the Mor Gabriel Monastery, where the Syriacs in the region still carry out their worship today. Known also as Deyrulumur, in Mor Gabriel Monastery we will explore the rooms of students and clergymen, various graves, church, bell tower, abbara, kitchen, student dormitories, and the monastery courtyard. Afterward, we proceed to MIDYAT. Here, you will feel the mystical architectural texture of Middle Eastern and Anatolian civilizations in a unique tone and color. Midyat is a leader in the artistic field of the region. It has preserved its historical structure so beautifully that one can feel in a medieval town or in a film set scene. Set in a rich architectural texture, the region’s stone artisans have made it resemble an open-air museum. Here, you will also find the best examples of the TELKARI art, finely crafted by Syriac masters with centuries of heritage. After walking through the streets of Midyat and doing some shopping, we visit the Midyat Guest House, which has been the filming location of series such as “Sıla,” “Hercai,” and “I Wrote Your Name in My Heart” and many other series. After this, we head towards Hasankeyf. Known for its historical significance dating back to ancient times and being a point of intersection of civilizations, Hasankeyf has recently been submerged due to the Ilısu dam’s water accumulation, and during this process, historical artifacts were transported to New Hasankeyf. While viewing the historical city from a wide perspective here, we will also see thousands of natural beauties such as Zeynel Bey Tomb, El Rızk Mosque, Hz. Suleiman Mosque, Koç Mosque, Kızlar Mosque, Artuklu Bath, İmam Abdullah Lodge, and Sultan Süleyman Complex, historical beauties from the Akkoyunlu and Ottoman periods. We are continuing our journey through BATMAN to the metropolitan city of the Southeast Anatolia region, DIYARBAKIR. After the eruption of Karacadag thousands of years ago, we continue on fertile lands that have a reddish hue and a view of dozens of kilometers of stone and rock sea. Upon arriving in Diyarbakır, we visit the Ulu Mosque, known as the oldest mosque in Anatolia and the 5th holy site in the Islamic world, immediately next to it is the Culture House of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, one of the prominent Turkish poets known for his poem “35 Years” (an exterior narration during restoration), the Four-Legged Minaret (Sheikh Mutahhar Mosque), Sulu Han, and Deliller Han. We also see the Diyarbakır Walls, which were registered as a 'World Cultural Heritage' during the UNESCO 39th World Heritage Committee Meeting, and the Hevsel Gardens, and we provide free time. Afterward, we head to the DIYARBAKIR Airport and complete our check-in processes for our flight at 23:05 on SunExpress Airlines to Izmir and arrive in IZMIR at 01:15.
