Tour Program
DAY 1 - (PANORAMIC ISLAND TOUR - NEW CITY - OLD CITY TOURS - HOTEL)
At 23:30, we meet our guests at Mavişehir Ege Park, 23:40 at Bostanlı Pier, 23:50 at Karşıyaka Monument, 00:00 in front of Alsancak Atatürk High School, and at 00:30 at Üçkuyular Shell to head towards Fethiye. After arriving in Fethiye early in the morning, we proceed to passport and customs procedures, and at 08:25, we depart from Fethiye to Rhodes by catamaran. After a journey of 1 hour and 50 minutes, we arrive at Rhodes Island.
After passport procedures, we start our panoramic island tour, first visiting the Mandraki Harbor, which is the main harbor of Rhodes and where the famous Rhodes statue was once located. After seeing the Murat Reis Mosque, we pass by the clean beach of Elli Beach, which is close to the city center, and reach the Aquarium Area. Next, we stop at the Kritika neighborhood, where Turks exiled from Crete lived together for a period.
After that, we reach Monte Smith Hill, where we are greeted with a magnificent view of both the New Town and the Old Town, allowing us to capture beautiful photos. From there, we proceed to the ancient Rhodes Acropolis, which was established in the 3rd century BC and contains archaeological artifacts. After visiting the Apollo Statue and the Ancient Stadium, we continue by bus to the Old Town area. Upon reaching the Old Town, we alight from our vehicle and, accompanied by our guide, we begin our remaining visits in a walking tour format, entering within the historic city walls. Within the castle, reflecting the shared heritage of the St. John Knights, Ottoman and Italian influences, we start at the Amboise Gate and then see the Clock Tower, Suleymaniye Mosque, Ahmet Aga Library, and Ibrahim Pasha Mosque, while exploring the lively streets of Socrates Street under the shade of century-old trees, eventually reaching what is known as the Hippocrates Square, also referred to as the Fountain Square. After enjoying a leisurely lunch in the square, we pass in front of the Archaeological Museum, which was once the hospital of the knights, and proceed to the Knights’ Street. We closely explore structures such as the Grand Master’s Palace, famous for its sculptures and mosaics, the Ottoman Medresseh and Baths, the Turkish School, and the Cem Sultan House. We complete our visits in the Old Town in this manner and proceed to our hotel for our overnight stay. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2 – FULL DAY FREE TIME / OPTIONAL SYMI TOUR
Dear guests, on our second day in Rhodes, we offer you two options. Guests who wish may have breakfast at our hotel and then spend the whole day on their own programs with free time. Since we received detailed information on both the new and old towns on the first day, you may choose to use your day for shopping or different activities. Alternatively, guests who want to explore more can join our optional Symi Tour, which offers the opportunity to discover another Greek island.
SYMI TOUR: PANORAMITIS MONASTERY, MARATHOUNDA BEACH, AGIA MARINA BEACH, LA STRADA (Stairway), MARKET AND CHURCHES
During our Symi tour, we will see locations including the Kali Strata Road: Originally built to give the wealthy residents a pleasant and winding path to walk home, this road is still well-maintained, providing visitors with the same feeling as it did back then. This charming path leads us on an adventure between Gialos and Chorio villages and allows us to enjoy the stunning views and architectural beauty of the island. We believe you will be able to capture beautiful photographs reflective of the island’s character and texture during this excursion. After our free time and lunch amidst souvenir shops showcasing the island's emblem, famous for sponges, we board our ferry and return to Rhodes. TOUR PACKAGE PRICE: €75.00 (hotel-port transfer, round trip ferry tickets to Symi, Turkish guiding service) (children aged 2-12: €35.00) NOTE: Guests wishing to join the Symi tour must make reservations and payments to our agency before the trip.
DAY 3 – HOTEL CHECK-OUT – LINDOS TOUR – RHODES – FETHIYE – IZMIR
After having breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and start our Lindos Tour, which is included in the tour package. LINDOS TOUR: After meeting our guide, we depart towards Lindos, the first center of Rhodes Island and its most charming, warm, and affluent village. Our first stop on the route is the Kallithea area. Known for its hot springs during the Italian rule, this area has long been highlighted for its natural beauty and has hosted some scenes of the movie Zorba, in which Anthony Quinn starred. After completing our visits in the area, we pass through Faliraki, the most famous hotel region of Rhodes, and visit the Tsambika Monastery, which is known for childless couples in Greece who go to pray for children.
After receiving information about the monastery, which is built on a hill offering a stunning sea view, we get a panoramic view of the Acropolis and St. Paul’s Bay before entering the town center of Lindos. We give you free time to explore Lindos, a popular tourist destination in Rhodes with its white houses, narrow streets, and poetic alleys adorned with white slate. Guests wishing to visit the Acropolis or swim can do so, and others may choose to shop or enjoy lunch in Lindos town center. After spending delightful hours there, we conclude our visits and return to Rhodes to catch our 16:30 departure catamaran. We complete our passport procedures and take our seats on our catamaran.
