DAY 1 ANKARA-BISHKEK
20:45 We recommend that you arrive at Ankara Esenboğa International Airport.
23:50 We are departing for the magnificent capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, on AJET Airlines' flight VF 573.
DAY 2 BISHKEK
07:25 Arrival in Bishkek. After necessary procedures, we will begin with a Panoramic Bishkek City Tour.
The Kyrgyz Republic was established after the fall of the Uighur State in 840, and the people embraced Islam during the Karakhanid period. Today, a significant portion of the populace is Muslim, while a quarter consists of Christians, Buddhists, and atheists. The country was part of the USSR between 1936 and 1992, and remnants of Russian influence can still be seen. Known for its breathtaking natural beauty, low urbanization rate, and a populace that remains closely tied to its traditions, this monumental country offers unique experiences to its visitors. Our tour in the capital of the Chuy Province, Bishkek will include the Ala Too Square, where festivals, concerts, and major activities take place and where the country's independence movement began. We will see the eye-catching Soviet-era Parliament Building, the Oak Park that has been evolving since the first trees were planted in 1890 and is now a significant oxygen reservoir, the symbolic Victory Square, and within it, the Eternal Flame Monument, representing a woman waiting for her son and husband who never returned from the war. There’s also the largest church in Central Asia, the Russian Orthodox Church, the History Museum, which houses many artifacts illuminating the country’s ancient history, the Gapar Aitiev Fine Arts Museum, showcasing both Kyrgyz folk art and Russian period artworks, the Frunze Museum in honor of the Soviet revolutionary born in Bishkek, the beautifully designed National Opera and Ballet Theater, which hosts significant performances, and the National Philharmonic Building, renowned for the Bishkek Jazz Festival and various concerts. We will conclude our tour by visiting one of the largest shopping places in the country, Osh Bazaar, where we will give you free time to shop for authentic handicrafts and natural products. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and check into our rooms. Free time to relax. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
DAY 3 BISHKEK (ALA ARCHA, CHUNKURCHAK)
After having breakfast at our hotel, it is a free day. Guests wishing to do so may participate in the extra Full Day Tour to Ala Archa and Chunkurchak organized by our guide. After breakfast, we depart from our hotel heading toward the Ala Archa National Park. (Approximately 40 Km) The Ala Archa National Park was established in 1976 to preserve the Ala Archa River Delta in the Tian Shan Mountains and has become one of the most important and beautiful natural attractions of the country. Surrounded by magnificent mountains, forests, rivers, and valleys, this park offers a visual feast wherever you look; we will walk along the river to reach the panoramic point. Here, you can feed squirrels, observe birds, and take countless unique photos. If you're lucky, you may see many animals in their natural habitat. After that, we will return to our vehicle and head to the Ata Beyit Monument . (Approximately 20 Km) This place is a tribute to Kyrgyz people killed for political reasons during the Soviet era. Here you will learn about many topics illuminating Kyrgyzstan's recent history and the Soviet era. Afterwards, we will go to an eco-village built in a canyon, in the heart of untouched nature to have our lunch, consisting of local products. (Approximately 30 Km) This facility is where you can learn about the daily life of the nomadic Kyrgyz people and the characteristics of the “Yurt” tents. After lunch, guests may choose to practice archery or ride horses and talk with the “Falconry Hunters.” Our next stop is the stunning Chunkurchak Canyon with the Dove Waterfall. (Approximately 5 Km) The waterfall, which falls from a height of about 30 meters, offers visitors breathtaking views. We will cross the suspension bridge here and take a photo break at the panoramic point. After the tour, we will return to our hotel in Bishkek. (Approximately 45 Km) Diligent guests can join the extra tour organized by our guide: the Kyrgyz Night with Dinner and Music. Delicious Kyrgyz dishes and drinks, accompanied by live music with the kobuz and accordion await you. At the end of the night, we will transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
DAY 4 BISHKEK (ISSYK-KUL)
After breakfast at our hotel, it is a free day. Guests wishing to do so may participate in the extra Full Day Tour to Issyk Kul organized by our guide. The Issyk Kul Lake and its area are among the first places that must be seen by visitors coming to Kyrgyzstan. For our tour, we first head towards Tokmok, which was the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet era. (Approximately 75 Km) On clear days, we’ll be accompanied by the majestic view of the Tien Shan Mountains. We will briefly view the industrial city of Tokmok without getting out of the vehicle before continuing our journey to Balasagun , the capital of the Karakhanids. (Approximately 15 Km) On the way, we will pass through cute, unspoiled villages and witness Kyrgyz rural life. The tower, originally constructed to a height of 45 meters in the late 9th century, was reduced to 24 meters after an earthquake in the 15th century. Historically located on the Silk Road, this tower served both as a mosque minaret and a watchtower. After visiting this site and seeing the Burana Museum exhibiting other historical structures and artifacts uncovered during excavations, guests who wish can climb the tower to enjoy breathtaking views of the Chuy Valley and the Tien Shan Mountains. After this visit, we are heading towards the Boom Canyon, connecting Lake Issyk Kul with the Chuy Valley. (Approximately 80 Km) Magnificent natural views will accompany us along the way. As we glide through the canyon, you'll be enchanted by the beautiful scenery of the Chu River, where one side is covered with trees while the other is filled with clay. We will offer Kyrgyz snacks and milk tea here. Afterwards, we will travel to Cholpon Ata , the largest town on the north shore of Lake Issyk Kul. (Approximately 120 Km) Here, we will visit the Cholpon Ata Museum, where you can learn about the details of Kyrgyz history and see petroglyphs dating back to the 8th century BC. After that, we will start our boat trip on the lake. Issyk Kul Lake, known as "the Blue Eye of the World," is the second-largest mountain lake in the world and one of the holiday centers of all Central Asia due to its beauty. (On suitable days, guests may swim in the lake during the break). After enjoying the scenery with the snow-capped peaks of the Tien Shan Mountains, we will visit Ruk Ordo, defined as a spiritual center that brings together different nations, religions, and historical eras. After this visit, we will head to the Cholpon Ata Hippodrome. This hippodrome, which hosts many events, including the World Nomad Games Festival, takes place every two years. If no events are available, guests may see the "Hunters with Eagles" and ride horses. We will then have our late lunch, with a menu consisting of Kyrgyz regional and natural products. After lunch, we are heading back to Bishkek. (Approximately 260 Km) After this tiring yet magnificent tour, we will return to our hotel late at night. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
DAY 5 BISHKEK-ANKARA
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and head to the airport. (In case the hotel buffet is not open, breakfast will be provided as a packaged meal.) After necessary procedures;
08:35 We board AJET Airlines flight VF 574 and depart for Ankara.
10:55 Arrival in Ankara.
