Tour Program
1.Day Marmaris - Kızkumu - Datça
Dear guests; After meeting you at the specified stops early on Saturday morning, we take a breakfast break at a suitable facility. We are heading towards Datça while enjoying the wonderful views through Aydın, Muğla, and Marmaris. Along our journey, we listen to the beautiful legend of the princess and the fisherman at Kızkumu, and we take a break for a walk and swimming on the sea. The geographer Strabon said, “God sends his beloved servant to the Datça Peninsula to grant him a long life…” We then continue our journey to Eski Datça, where we walk through streets adorned with stone houses, narrow stone alleys, and bougainvillea, encountering art galleries, souvenir shops, and bohemian venues. After completing our program, we proceed to Marmaris center to check into our hotel. Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.
Guests who wish can participate in an extra tour to enjoy the famous nightclubs of Marmaris!
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we leave the hotel and set out to join our Marmaris-Gökova Boat Tour. Upon arriving in Akyaka, our boat awaits us, and theGökova Boat tour begins, with the first stop being Ince Kum Beach. We are sure you will have a great time swimming in this fantastic sea. Our next stop is Lacivert Koy. You will feel like you have put filters on your eyes when you look at this velvety bay from the outside; now imagine swimming here… Next, we will visit Sedir Island, which is the highlight of our tour. While exploring the historical monuments and amphitheater from the Roman period, our guide will tell you interesting stories and provide information about this place. We will have free time to swim at Cleopatra Beach. However, unfortunately, sunbathing and even touching the sand is prohibited due to the special sands found on Cleopatra's bay. Known as Cleopatra Island, it is famous for its golden sandy beach and the ruins of the Cedrae ancient city. According to legend, Antonius brought the golden sands of this beach from North Africa by ship especially for Cleopatra, and it is believed that Cleopatra swam here. The golden sands found at Cleopatra Beach are only found in Egypt. On the west side of the island, remains from the Roman period can be found. With this tour, you will not only have the opportunity to see a natural wonder of a beach, but you will also enjoy a nostalgic trip with its historical texture. Sedir Island has shower, WC, changing cabins, sunbed, and cafeteria facilities. After completing our program at Sedir Island, we begin our journey back. We will head back towards İzmir and drop you off at the points we picked you up between 22:30-23:30, bidding farewell until we meet again on another İzmir Port Travel journey.
