Day 1
IZMIR - CANAKKALE - IPSALA BORDER GATE
- We welcome our esteemed guests at Üçkuyular Opet Opposite Ziraat Bank 16:30, Üçyol Bus Station 16:45, Lozan Gate 17:00, Ege University Emergency Gate 17:15, Girne Street Office Front 17:30, Bostanlı Pier 17:40, Mavişehir Hilltown Avm 17:50 and embark on our enjoyable journey towards the lands inherited from our ancestors. With necessary breaks, we arrive at the Ipsala Border Gate via Çanakkale - Gelibolu - Keşan. After passport and customs procedures, we enter Greece.
- Day 2
- KAVALA - JUMBO AVM - DRAMA - THESSALONIKI
- In the morning hours, following the Egnatia highway, we arrive at the Nea Karvali Town near Kavala and taste the famous Kavala cookies, and then head to the city center of Kavala, where we will see the Kavala Harbor, Panagia Streets, Old Ottoman Houses, the House of Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Pasha, the Imaret, Pargalı İbrahim Pasha Mosque among other places. After the tour of Kavala, we offer free time at the world-famous Jumbo AVM located on our way. After free time to explore this mall filled with various souvenirs and anything you can think of, we continue our journey towards Drama. After approximately 1 hour of travel, we arrive in the city of Drama, which has inspired many songs and folk songs and was the 3rd district of the Thessaloniki Province during the Ottoman period. After a short city tour where we will also see the Train Station building from the Ottoman era, we take a break at the city center's famous water springs. After visiting the Water Springs which bear the name of St. Barbara, one of Christianity's important saints and considered the protector of the city, we start a brief walking tour in downtown. We also visit the Beyazıt Mosque , which was converted into a church after the exchange and still operates as a church today, then we have free time for strolling, shopping, and lunch in the city center adorned with modern stores and cafes. After witnessing the unique beauties of the city of Drama, we move towards Thessaloniki, where we check into our hotel located in Thessaloniki. Overnight stay at the hotel. In the evening, guests wishing to do so may join an optional Greek Tavern Tour organized by our guide, with delicious meals, Greek music, and unlimited entertainment.
- Day 3
- THESSALONIKI - IZMIR
- After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and head to the Anma Ceremony in front of the Atatürk House where our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was born and spent his childhood. After the ceremony, we start our city tour by seeing the spacious Vardaris Square, one of the central squares of the city, and the Statue of King Constantine. We continue our stroll along the Niki (Victory) Boulevard Customs Building from the Ottoman era, and take a short photo break at the White Tower which is the symbol of Thessaloniki. We then view the Statue of Alexander, the Rotonda, and the Exhibition area, then proceed to the east of the city. While navigating the main boulevards decorated with neo-classical buildings, we explore the Sabri Pasha Fountain, the Aristotle University Campus, the Arch of Galerius adorned with reliefs depicting his victories over the Persians , the Rotonda which served as a mosque during the Ottoman period, and the Bey Hamam built during the reign of Murad II and finally arrive at the central square of the city, where we enjoy some free time for shopping and lunch at Aristotle Square. After our free time, we visit the Atatürk House. After that, we bid farewell to Thessaloniki and begin our journey back to Izmir. In the late night, we drop you off at the points where we picked you up in Izmir, and we bid farewell with the hope to see you on the next İzmir Port Travel tour.

What to know
1- Participants are dropped off at the point where they board the vehicle. Additionally, no stops/pick-ups are made at different locations. The start and end times of our tours may not align with public transport schedules. We recommend planning your arrangements accordingly. The times listed on the website are purely for informational purposes, and the exact meeting time and location will be sent to you via SMS or WhatsApp before the tour by the guide. If this information does not arrive before the tour, please contact our office. 2- The agency reserves the right to make changes due to weather, road, and extraordinary circumstances during the tours. 3- The agency is not responsible for items forgotten/lost/stolen during the tour. 4- Vehicles for our tours are arranged based on the number of participants. Participants will not be informed in advance about the vehicle that will be used for the tour. 5- Tours or trips that local authorities do not permit to visit for any reason will not be conducted. The agency cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct these tours or trips. 6- If sufficient participants are not reached for the realization of the tour, the agency has the right to cancel the tour, provided that they inform at least one day in advance. 7- Child discounts apply only to participants under the age of 12, provided they are accompanied by 2 adults. 8- Extra tours can only take place with a minimum of 20 participants. If there are fewer than 20 participants, they may not take place. 9- İzmir Travel Port reserves the right to make changes to hotels, provided they are of the same standards. 10- İzmir Travel Port has no ability to determine which room you will stay in. The hotels you will stay in determine the rooms. 11- In hotels, particularly in triple rooms, the third bed may not be a standard bed. A sofa bed may be provided. 12- Travel insurance is mandatory during our tours. Date of birth and Turkish ID number must be presented. Our agency is not obligated to verify this information. 13- The agency is not responsible for trips that are unable to be conducted despite being indicated in the tour program due to unforeseeable reasons (weather, road, crowding at visited sites, etc.) or due to participants not adhering to the schedule set by our guide. 14- Our guide has the right to make any changes to the program if deemed necessary. 15- During peak periods such as holidays, lodging may take place in different hotels than those listed on the site, and groups may be split. On Black Sea tours, accommodation may take place in two separate hotels depending on the capacity of the highland facilities. Since the bus may not be able to go up to the mountain, minibuses may be used. In this case, it is recommended to have a small bag for your belongings. Mountain access fees are your responsibility, and our agency has no commercial connection to them. 16- In discussions, verbal statements will not be considered. The details written in the tour program and your requests via email will be taken as the basis. 17- Participants acknowledge that they have read and accepted this information, which is stated in the package tour contract, and consumers are responsible for following updates on the website. The website and the package tour contract are an inseparable part. 18- In special and busy periods such as the summer season, religious and national holidays, accommodations may take place in neighboring provinces of the designated area. 19- Seasonal changes, road works, weather conditions, and customer dissatisfaction from previous services may lead to changes in the tour program listed on the İzmir Travel Port website. The most recently published circular invalidates the previous one. 20- İzmir Travel Port acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa if deemed necessary.
