TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1: GYREN - NICOSIA
Dear guests, we embark on our journey to Nicosia with the (ADB) Izmir - Nicosia flight departing from the International Terminal. After meeting our vehicle waiting for us in Nicosia, we enter the Nicosia city walls through the Girne Gate, panoramic view of the Ledra Palace border. Here, we visit the Samanbahçe Houses, the Venetian Column, Palace Square, Büyük Han, Arasta Bazaar, Lokmacı barricade, Selimiye Mosque (St. Sophia Cathedral) and Bandabulya (Municipality Market). After free time, we conclude our trip and head to the city of Girne. We visit the Bellapais Monastery. From here, we visit the Girne Castle and have free time at the famous Girne Antique Harbor. After completing our tour, we return to our hotel and have free time.
Dinner: Will be provided at the hotel as an open or set menu.
Day 2: GUZELYURT
Dear guests, after having breakfast at our hotel, we head together to the greenest area of the island, Guzelyurt. We visit the Blue Mansion, known as the smuggler's lodge. We listen to the secrets of the mysterious house of the Middle East's biggest arms smuggler, then we visit the Guzelyurt Nature and Archaeology Museum and right next to it the St. Mamas Monastery. From here, we move to Leakey amidst the famous orange and lemon trees of the region, have our morning coffee, enjoy our handmade lemonade, and see the old Ottoman mansions and famous palm trees of the region and the monument of our pilot Cengiz Topel, who was martyred during the Erenköy resistance in 1964. We finish our tour and head back to our hotel.

Day 3: FREE TIME
Guests who wish can participate in the Boat tour (Extra, the cost will be paid by the guests during the tour per person 1500 ₺). Following our breakfast at the hotel, we head to Girne Antique Harbor for our boat tour. Around 11:00 guests who wish can join our boat tour. During our boat tour, we will see Yavuz Landing Beach where the 1974 happy peace operation took place, and we will take swimming breaks at two different famous coves. During our first stop, while we have our swimming break, we will also have our lunch. Then we move to another cove and have another swimming break, where we will also serve you seasonal fruits. Around 16:30 we complete our boat tour by returning to the Antique Harbor. After the boat tour, we have some free time at the Girne Antique Harbor before returning to our hotel.
Food and Beverage Information Breakfast: Will be served at the hotel.
Lunch: Chicken, Salad, Meze, and Water will be included in the boat tour (Beverages Extra).
Dinner: Will be provided at the hotel as an open or set menu.
Note: There will be no licensed guide during the boat tour
Day 4: FAMAGUSTA – CLOSED MARAS
Dear guests, after having breakfast at our hotel, we head towards Famagusta. First, we visit the St. Barnabas Monastery, then we go to Salamis ruins located by the seaside. After obtaining information about Ancient Cyprus history and Meteorology, we visit the Closed Maras area where guests can enter, exploring the hotels that once made the region known as the Paris of the East. We then return to our bus and start our visit to the Famagusta Castle, see Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Venetian Palace, Namık Kemal dungeon, and have free time within Famagusta Castle. Shopping and Cyprus Desserts (Bread Kadayıf, Peach Kebab) complete our tour as we head towards the airport. We bid farewell hoping to meet again in our next Izmir Travel Opportunities trip.
